Integra was approached by the owners of a group of Senior Residence facilities in two mid-western states. The owners had limited to no understanding of how to set up and manage a physical therapy clinic but were keenly aware of the need to have this service available to the residents of their facilities. After data was acquired from the owners and Integra was able to project a financial picture, the owners tasked Integra with the start-up of a physical therapy clinic to be located in each of the nine facilities that they owned. Additionally, Integra was to provide all aspects of inception necessary to develop a high quality, highly profitable clinic that provides PT, OT, and Speech therapy to the residents of each of their facilities.
Integra assisted with the incorporation of the Physical Therapy business and immediately set out to recruit and hire staff. All contracts with insurances and Medicare were filed, while the physical therapy clinic build out, under the supervision of Integra Rehab Solutions was being completed. Equipment and supplies were recommended and purchased. All of this was accomplished within four weeks of contract signing. Patients were scheduled and visits were seen within a minimum period of time.
The owners anticipate adding one clinic at a time as each clinic generates positive cash flows and start-up costs have been absorbed. The growth of the business has been steady while quality has been maintained. The owners anticipate having nine clinics opened and operating within the next two years with Integra managing both the start-up efforts and the billing, collections and management as each clinic becomes fully operational.
